Evaluations and treatments are customized to fit each child's particular needs.  Each child presents me with a unique puzzle.  It is my mission to make sense of this puzzle, determine strengths, weaknesses, and needs, explain why the difficulties exist, and provide an individualized plan.

I specialize in the evaluation and/or treatment of children aged 18-months and older.

Areas addressed include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Learning difficulties
  • Giftedness
  • Kindergarten readiness
  • Developmental Disabilities
  • Parent skills training
  • Behavior problems
  • Anxiety
  • Emotional disturbances
  • Anger management
  • Toileting problems
  • Sleeping difficulties

About My Practice

About Dr. Dedmon

  • I received my undergraduate degrees with honors in both Psychology and in Sociology from Oklahoma State University in 1993.  While there, I was a member of the university's Leadership Council and co-authored published research before I graduated.
  • I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Texas Tech University.  I also received two years of specialized training in both Clinical Child Psychology and in Pediatric Psychology at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
  • I returned home to start my private practice in 2000, due to my passion for helping children in Oklahoma.  I was born and raised here, as was my family three generations before me.  We have been here since the land run!
  • I am a member of both the American Psychological Association and the Oklahoma Psychological Association.  I am also recognized by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
